TaxPilot is a free gross-to-net salary calculator for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. This policy describes what data is processed when you use taxpilot.store. Your salary inputs never leave your browser; the site itself is financed through Google AdSense advertising, described below.

Calculations stay in your browser

Every calculation runs locally on your device. Your salary inputs are never transmitted to us or to any third party, and they are not stored anywhere — not even in your browser's local storage. Closing the tab removes everything.

No accounts, no analytics of your inputs

This website has no user accounts and runs no analytics on your calculations. Your salary figures are processed only in your browser and are never sent to us.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

To keep the calculator free, this website is financed through advertising delivered by Google AdSense, a service of Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). To display and measure ads, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies and process data such as your IP address, device and browser information, and interactions with ads. This advertising data is processed by Google as an independent controller.

For users in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, personalized advertising and non-essential cookies are only used with your consent, which you can give or refuse in the cookie/consent dialog and change at any time. Hosting logs

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. As with any web server, technical access logs (IP address, request path, user agent, timestamp) may be processed briefly for security and reliability. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operating the site securely). See Vercel's privacy policy.

Fonts

The Inter typeface is loaded from Google Fonts; your browser therefore requests the font files from Google servers, transmitting your IP address. No cookies are set by this request.

Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection regarding personal data. Since we do not collect personal data through the calculator, these rights mainly concern email correspondence you initiate with us. Contact details are on the Imprint page. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
